Get A Free Credit Report
See yourself as potential lenders see you! Through Schools FCU, you can request a free copy of your credit report each year. A loan officer will go over it with you to help you understand it better. They’ll identify red flags and make recommendations for raising your score, such as correcting reporting errors and closing unused accounts.
An annual review also protects you against fraud by allowing you to verify that all accounts on your record are legitimate.
Unlike the "free" credit report ads you hear on the radio, this is a no-cost, no-obligation service of your membership in Schools FCU.

Never miss a payment! Set up regular payments by payroll deduction or automatic monthly transfers from savings or checking. You won’t have to do a thing; your payment will be made for you.

Our Loan Payment Protection Plans allow you to safeguard your family against financial hardship through Credit Life and Credit Disability coverage.
Overdraft Protection
A little short this week? Make a math error? Protect yourself from bounced check fees by applying for overdraft protection from your savings, Money Market or Visa accounts. If you write a check for more than is in your account, funds will be automatically transferred in $100 increments, up to your available credit limit, to cover the shortfall. Overdraft protection is also a handy way to write yourself a loan.
