2021 Annual Meeting

As we continue to do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19, our Annual Meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 5:30 pm. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet the group of elected volunteers who serve as members of the Board or the Supervisory Committee. Instructions on how to RSVP to attend the virtual event will be shared.

During the meeting, the credit union will share our accomplishments in the past year and what to expect in the future as we continue to enhance our products and services.

Nominated by Committee

The Nominating Committee at Schools Federal Credit Union has nominated two (2) members to the Board of Directors:

Enrique Boull’t is currently the Chairman of Schools Federal Credit Union. He has served as a Board or a Supervisory Committee member since 2010. He was employed by the LAUSD for 38 years and retired in 2014 as the Chief Operating Officer, representing over 10,000 classified employees providing various services to schools and students. He has been a proud member of Schools Federal Credit Union since 1979 and looks forward to continuing to represent our credit union members with financial products that meet their daily needs.

Margaret Scholl Fairlie has been a member of the Credit Union since joining the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) in 1969. Her volunteer service to the Credit Union includes 15 years on the Supervisory Committee, five of which were as Committee chair. For the past 16  years, she has been a member of the Board of Directors and served as Board Chair from 2012 to 2016. Her work experience includes three years as the Chief Financial Officer for the Santa Monica School District. At LAUSD, she worked in Stores Branch, Budget, and General Accounting, where she managed the District’s financial projections and investment planning. She then served 11 years as Director of Maintenance and Operations, managing a budget in excess of $300 million and a workforce of more than 5000 employees. In 1995, she was assigned to manage the District’s long-range financial recovery from the Northridge Earthquake, which she successfully concluded in September 2005. She is currently retired but still committed to ensuring the credit union’s financial stability and providing critical services to its members. 

Nomination by Petition

Members may also be nominated by petition. A minimum of 200 signatures from members who are in good standing must be collected. The petition must contain identifiable information to verify their membership. The candidate must provide their statement of qualifications, such as their resume and accomplishments. For your convenience, you may click on the “Nominate a Director” button to submit applications. Completed applications must be received by April 15, 2021.
