Recruiting Volunteers, serve as a Board Member

Schools Federal Credit Union is currently recruiting for two voluntary board positions for a 3-year term. As a board member, your voice is crucial in representing the interests and needs of the credit union’s membership. Don’t miss this opportunity to directly impact the direction and success of your credit union. And remember, before you can be considered to represent the membership as a Board Member or serve in any of the committees to represent the membership, you must be a current member in good standing (must not have caused a loss to the credit union), be 18 years of age, be bondable, and must provide consent to a background check (criminal, credit, employment/association history).

There are two ways to be considered:

Nomination by Petition

The candidate must be nominated by 1% of the members, with a minimum of 200 and a maximum of 500 verifiable signatures from members in good standing. Completed applications must be received by Thursday, April 13, 2023. Note, this date coincides with the tentative date that has been established for the 2023 Annual Meeting.

Nominating Committee

The nominating committee will accept applications/considerations throughout the year.
