Congratulations to the graduating class of 2023! As a financial institution that has been committed to helping our members achieve their financial goals since 1939, we understand that higher education is often the first step in securing a bright future. That’s why we are pleased to offer a $1,000 scholarship to four of our members who are investing in their future through education.
We have extended the deadline to submit your application to Friday, May 12, 2023. Recipients of the scholarship will be notified by Friday, May 19, 2023, and will be invited to attend our 2023 Annual Meeting at Knott’s Berry Farm.
All submissions will be reviewed by a committee, and the recipient will be selected based on their:
- Essay on financial literacy (minimum of 500 words) and how proper money management is just as important as education.
- Academic achievement
- Letters of recommendation (minimum of 2)
- Leadership
- Extracurricular activities, including school and community involvement, volunteer work, and work experience.
