We have confirmed that a back-office employee at our Torrance facility tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. As a safety measure, we’ve scheduled all employees to be tested in addition to the facility to be thoroughly cleaned. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your understanding. The branch will reopen on Monday, March 15, 2021.

Our Los Angeles Branch at the Orsini Complex will be reopening on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 9:00 am.

We have confirmed that an employee at the branch tested positive for COVID-19 on February 12, 2021. As a result, our Los Angeles office will be temporarily closed starting Friday, February 12th. We will assess the situation at the branch and will update the membership as soon as a reopening date is available. The safety of our members and staff will always be our priority. We apologize for any inconvenience and truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

In the meantime, we encourage you to bank online if at all possible. This continues to be the best alternative as we all do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19. If you do need to visit a branch, please use the service-center locator guide for the nearest office. Please note, several service centers are operating under restricted hours. Our lobby hours are currently operating under restricted hours as we continue to do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to monitor the situation daily to ensure the safety of our members and staff. We’ve implemented processes for social distancing and increased cleanliness at our facilities.

  • Our lobbies are open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm; appointments are available from 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm. 
  • All loan applications must be submitted online or by calling us at (9866) 459-2345, option 3.
  • As a precautionary measure, shared branching services at or locations have been suspended until further notice.

Please be advised that Schools Federal Credit Union will never ask for your account information unless the call or the inquiry is initiated by you.

If you receive a call or a text message asking for personal financial information (i.e.: Social Security Number, Account Number, Debit or Credit Card Numbers…), please disregard the message.
