What time should we get there by? The park opens at 10:00 am, so feel free to start your day early and hit the rides right away (perfect for all you morning people!). On your way in, swing by the Gold Rush Camp Picnic Area—we’ll be there to greet you with a warm welcome and some goodies, like a handy drawstring backpack to carry throughout the park!
We highly recommend getting to the Gold Rush Camp picnic area by 10:45 am. Our celebration officially kicks off at 11:00 am sharp. We’ll start with a short business meeting where you’ll meet our amazing volunteers (aka our Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee Members, and staff). We’ll take a moment to reflect on 2024 accomplishments and share a sneak peek of what’s ahead… and then the fun really begins!
Games, prizes, and more games and prizes! We’ve packed the picnic area with activities and giveaways that will run through 2:00 pm. And word on the street is that Snoopy himself will be dropping by at 11:30 am for a photo op!
You’re welcome to hang out with us at the picnic area or venture into the park anytime. Just be sure to enjoy the scrumptous lunch we’ve got prepared, hich starts at 11:30 am—featuring the legendary Mrs. Knott’s fried chicken! The buffet will be open until 1:30 pm, so plan accordingly. (Heads-up: the park has asked that all food stays within the picnic area.)
How do you win prizes? You’re already entered! The number of tickets you received determines how many times your name has been entered into the drawing. Good luck!
Where is Knott’s? Located at 8039 Beach Blvd, Buena Park, CA 90620
Where do I park? The most convenient place to park is in the East Lot, as it’s closest to the Gold Rush Camp Picnic Area. We strongly recommend arriving as early as possible to secure an ideal parking spot. Please note, parking is $35 and is collected upon entry.
