Credit Union Day

Come Visit Us this Friday, September 18th!

When Schools Federal Credit Union was founded in 1939 by a group of classified employees from Schools Federal Credit Union was founded in 1939 by classified employees from what are now LAUSD and LACCD with one goal: to improve the financial lives of members.

They believed banking could be different. Instead of serving outside investors, they created a not for profit financial cooperative owned by the people it serves.

More than 87 years later, that same philosophy still guides us: People Helping People.

This Friday, we’re celebrating you. Stop by our Torrance or Los Angeles office for refreshments, and come early for a complimentary insulated lunch bag while supplies last.

Plus, every member who visits will be entered into a random drawing for a chance to receive one of five $50 Visa Electronic Gift Cards!

Whether you’ve been with us for decades or recently joined, we hope you’ll celebrate with us.

People Helping People starts with people like YOU.
