Congratulations to the graduating class of 2021! It’s been unlike any other year (EVER) and you continue to adapt to unforeseen challenges. Not only have you had to adjust how you attend your classes, but you’ve also had to change the way we communicate with each other. As a way of celebrating your success, we are excited to offer three $1,000 Cash Scholarships this year!
We encourage all graduating students enrolling in a two, four-year college or a trade school to apply. Entries must be submitted by May 31, 2021.

- Current high school transcript(s)
- Admission letter or proof of enrollment for the Fall 2021 semester
- Two letters of recommendation
- An essay on the importance of financial literacy
The recipient of the scholarship will be notified on or before Monday, June 14, 2021.
If you are unable to apply online, you may send the requested documents along with a cover letter with your contact information to Schools Federal Credit Union, 2011 Hamilton Ave #101, Torrance, CA 90502. Remember, all submissions must be received by May 31, 2021.
Terms and Conditions
The recipient of the award must be a member in good standing (must have a Member Share Savings account and not have caused a loss to the Credit Union) before disbursement. Membership and maintenance fees are waived for minor accounts. Account will continue to be fee-free and will be classified as a College Account. Submissions will be reviewed by the Scholarship Application Committee. Scholarship funds will be deposited to a share account (savings or checking) at the credit union. The recipient must have a valid TAX ID number, such as a Social Security Number along with a government-issued Identification Card.
