Your Credit Union is a unique financial cooperative owned and operated by its members, not for profit. This means you have a say in how the Credit Union is run!
Member-Driven and Volunteer-Led:
Our Board of Directors are members like you, who volunteer their time and expertise to represent the interests of the entire membership. They guide the Credit Union’s direction, and the management team reports to them regularly, ensuring decisions prioritize member needs.
Become a Volunteer Leader:
We’re currently seeking passionate members to join the Supervisory Committee or Board of Directors. By volunteering, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the future of the Credit Union and directly impact your community.
There are two (2) ways to submit your application (application process):
- Submit an Application: Share your qualifications and interest with the Nominating Committee by Monday, March 18, 2024.
- Petition Option: Gather signatures from at least 200 active members in good standing by Monday, April 22, 2024. This option allows you to directly demonstrate member support for your candidacy.
Please note:
- The positions currently held by Yoshiko Fong, Dr. Gayle Ball-Parker, and Dr. Antoine Hawkins are vacant. The Nominating Committee is considering nominating the incumbents to serve another term.
- The term for elected volunteers is three years (2024-2027).
